These 8 injured first team players?
Are they all going to be fit for pre-Season?

Reid
Obiang
Antonio
Carroll
Masuaku
Kouyate
Noble
Ogbonna (back already)

and are any of these injuries going to make them less of a player going into the new Season?

Sell Valencia, i'm sure whatever we can get for him will more than cover the outlay for Onyekuru! maybe just swap them!

Sakho has gone back to his WITCH DOCTOR.

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
Carroll being a big player for us is half the problem.

Going into a season without a plan B is the other half.

Carroll, with his fitness record should NEVER be our no.1 striker.

We need to have a plan A that does not include Carroll.

Fuck Sakho, the mentalist cunt. He has no interest of playing for WHU again.

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
This is why the Stan whatever his surname was got the tin tack and Gary Lewin is in.

If you were working in a day to day profession Stan was clearly not doing a good enough job on the players rehab and Carroll in my mind never a clear update over the last 4 or 5 games in the season as to what the problem was. We hope he is available, he is such a big players for us and team sheet comes out and not even on the bench.

I don't expect Lewin to have the magic sponge, but to be honest an overhaul was needed and I would expect Lewin to use his knowledge from his time at Arsenal about training methods and rehab for the top players.

When they were the invincibles, all the top players, Henry, Bergkamp, Vieria all fit week in and week out, playing Premier League, Champs Leagues games etc..

Lewin will have a big role to play, he is going to be busy, but hopefully there will be improvements

I'm pretty sure that Sakho thing is almost a carbon copy from this time last summer!

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
Diafra Sakho will work through the summer in a bid to be fit for the start of next season.

The West Ham forward has endured an injury-hit campaign, with a persistent back problem and a hamstring injury restricting him to just four appearances.

Sakho was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign earlier this month and Sky Sports News HQ understands he is currently in his native Senegal having been given time off by West Ham.

However, the 27-year-old will return to London early next month to begin a rehabilitation programme on his long-standing back injury and will continue this through until the start of pre-season in July.

Sakho has been dogged by injuries since joining West Ham from Metz in 2014 and has managed to make only 54 appearances during his three years at the club.

He has netted 20 times for the Hammers during that period and attracted offers from Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion last summer.

Sakho has 13 months remaining on his present contract at West Ham.

I think you mean not injured, rather than fit!

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
He's the only one fit at the mo according to Physio! lol

I'd keep Andy as third choice for next Season, bit like Crouch at Stoke

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
9!!! You forgot Sakho, granted he was just about over whatever it was that was keeping him out of the team, but i wouldn't be to optimistic he will be fit come the start of the season..........not given his rumoured mental state at times.

Trevor B 11:37 Mon Jun 12
Re: These 8 injured first team players?
unfortunately he still has 2 years left on his contract, and to let him go we would have to pay that up, which would come out of one seasons wage budget, which would in turn mean that's 90k less to spend on wages in the coming season. i see your grasp of the financial realities of football are still in their infancy.

the only hope we have is that the chinese have a mad moment and come back in for him.

You still think carroll has a future? He should be like a car insurance write off

Re: These 8 injured first team players?
I see Masuaku is now fit but Collins has a muscle injury.

All bar Reid and Obiang fit in two weeks, Reid 4 weeks, Obiang 3 weeks

Be good to have Antonio back firing
